Welcome to our studio, where tango is taught & performed with an emphasis on technique, skill & professionalism. Our dedicated team delivers high-quality instruction & organises engaging events that reflect our commitment to the art of tango.
Founded by Dean & Genevieve, distinguished tango professionals with over a decade of expertise, Primavera Tango has quickly become a respected name. Our journey is marked by participation in eight prestigious international tango competitions, earning us acclaim in the global tango community. Notably, we achieved Sub-Champion status in the preliminaries for the World Tango Championships Oceania 2024 & secured third place in a highly competitive stage tango competition in Buenos Aires in 2023. Additionally, in 2018, we were honoured as Sub-champions in Tango Pista in Melbourne & received the Gold award for the People's Choice through public vote in a televised Miss Vietnam competition, reaching audiences internationally.
Our dedication to tango has been further enriched by three transformative trips to Argentina, during which we spent over two years immersing ourselves in the culture & training with world renowned champions.
Since returning to Australia, we have appeared in various films, including a documentary, a short film currently under review for an independent film award & ReelShort, a vertical series akin to those found on Netflix. We have made two appearances on 7News Morning Sunrise & performed at several iconic venues in Sydney, including the Sydney Conservatorium of Music & the area surrounding the Sydney Opera House.
