We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Primavera Tango’s Practi-Tanda at Lachlan’s Line Auditorium on 31st October 2024! What better way to kick off this exciting new event than with a Halloween themed tango night?
This special Halloween Practi-Tanda will bring together tango from across the community and while dressing up is completely optional, we encourage you to embrace the spirit of the season! Imagine gliding across the dance floor, as a mysterious masquerade guest or simply in your tango best—it's about the joy of dancing!
What to Expect:
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: Master Class on Giros. Start your evening with a high-quality, in-depth tango master class. This term’s focus will be on Giros, one of tango’s most intricate movements. This class is designed to help you refine your technique and add a new layer of fluidity to your dance.
7:30 PM - 10:00 PM: Practica with DJ Louise After the master class, the night really gets going with our tango practica, featuring the talented DJ Louise. Louise is an experienced DJ at this venue and knows exactly how to curate the perfect tanda’s to keep the energy flowing and dancers inspired.
Refreshments To keep the evening festive and fueled, we will be offering refreshments. It's the perfect opportunity to socialise between tanda’s, meet fellow dancers and share in the excitement of this grand opening event.
Costumes Optional While it’s not required, we encourage everyone to have fun with the Halloween theme! Whether you arrive in a creative costume or just your favorite dance outfit, the night is all about celebrating tango in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
What is PractiTanda?
PractiTanda is our new weekly event designed to bring the tango community together for both learning and practice. It’s a combination of a class and practica, offering dancers the chance to refine their skills in a structured yet relaxed environment. PractiTanda is the perfect setting to explore tango in a supportive community of fellow dancers.

Cost: $25 for the class & practica, $10 for the practica only

No Registration Required - Enjoy the convenience of hassle-free enrolment - no prior registration needed but recommended
Solo Participants Welcome - No partner? No problem! Our lessons cater to solo participants, fostering an inclusive environment.
Open to Intermediate - experienced dancers welcome to the class, all levels welcome to the practica
